The objective of the Security Department is to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all staff, students and visitors and to contribute towards the university achieving its strategic Vision.

The Security Department is based on the ground floor of Senate House and deals with all aspects of University security. We work on a 24/365 basis and by liaising with local and national agencies including the Police it enables us to provide a professional service which focuses on personnel safety and protection of property making the University a very safe and friendly place to work, study and to visit.
