The University of Surrey, Guildford Campus enjoys an enviable reputation for the conference facilities which it can provide. All of these facilities are located within a beautifully landscaped campus, which is one of the largest and most accessible conference venues in Surrey.

Location is the top priority for most event organisers and our position, within walking distance of Guildford town centre, directly off the A3 and only 9 miles from the M25 proves a highly desirable combination when attracting speakers and delegates.

The University of Surrey has an exceptional range of meeting rooms, seating up to 418 people, including up to 160 cabaret style. A choice of accommodation and restaurants ensures the University can meet the needs of most event organisers, from small day events to large complex residential conferences. Year round meetings

In addition to the full range of facilities we have available during University vacation times, we also have two purpose built year round venues for day meetings of up to 90 people, the Continuing Education Centre and Wates House.

Special occasions

For special occasions we have a unique venue choice. From wedding receptions, corporate parties and family celebrations to formal dinner dances and BBQ's there will be a venue to suit the occasion. We have four function venues, each with their own character and appeal.

The campus provides not only a unique venue but it has beautiful grounds, with two lakes which are ideal backdrops for photographs and drinks receptions, BBQ's and marquees.
