The two Engineering Divisions of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences (FEPS) offers a wide range of modular MEng and BEng undergraduate programmes in aerospace, civil, chemical, chemical and bio-systems, mechanical, and medical engineering.  The two dicisions are Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (CCE) and Mechanical Medical and Aerospace Engineering (MMA).

Our postgraduate taught programmes cover the subject areas of bridge, civil and structural engineering, environmental strategy/management and sustainable development, biomedical engineering, materials and mechanical engineering plus systems engineering and technology management. We have recently introduced a new MSc in Transport Planning and Practice and in September will launch an MSc in Water Regulation and Management.

We also offer a range of short courses designed to offer Continuing Professional Development.

Alongside our teaching activities we have three research centres, namely:

Environmental Strategy
Fluids and Systems
Materials, Surfaces & Structural Systems

Within each of these are a number of very active smaller research centres.
