Materials Under Stress

Covering the basic concepts of fracture mechanics and fatigue, with emphasis on practical applications for metals, ceramics, polymers and composites, this course is suitable for those with no formal introduction to the science of fracture.

All topics are introduced from the first principles with the aim of developing an understanding of the concepts involved.
