Adhesive Bonding Technology

The objective of the course is to provide a thorough grounding in the technology of adhesive bonding. The course starts with a review of the science of adhesion and adhesives and moves on to consider pre-treatment, different adhesive types and the design of bonded joints. Testing, durability and quality assurance are discussed and case studies in automobile, packaging and microelectronics presented.
