• Are you are eligible to apply for accommodation?
  
  New Undergraduate applicants should have accepted a place at Surrey (a firm acceptance, not an insurance place).
  
  New Postgraduate applicants should have returned their acceptance form to the Postgraduate Registry.
  
  Diploma Nursing applicants should have accepted a place at Surrey (a firm acceptance, not an insurance place).
  
  Guildford School of Acting applicants should have accepted their place with GSA.
  
  New Students - please note that it takes 2 or 3 days, after you have accepted a place, for access to the accommodation application system to be set up.
  
  Continuing Undergraduates and Postgraduates may apply on-line between 1st and 17th December 2010 for rooms starting October 2011. If you have missed this deadline but wish to join the waiting list please contact us and request a paper aplication form.
  
  
  

• Are you using the correct login details?
  
  You will need your University Student number, which has 7 numbers (not your UCAS number). Existing students will find this number on their student card. New students will find this number in the email from the University acknowledging their application for a course.
  
  Your date of birth is written like this: 010385 - (1st March 1985)
  
  
• Make sure your Caps Lock key is not on and any language software programme you may be using is off

Display

If you are having problems with the display of the pages of our system check the following:

• This system is best accessed using Internet Explorer version 6 or above, Firefox 3 or Netscape 9.0.0.6
  
• Your browser must have pop-ups enabled and should have a security setting no higher than medium. You could re-set these settings once you have finished if necessary.
  
• If you are using a PC at work you may not be able to access these pages, since your employer’s firewall settings may block pages on our website. Try again using a personal PC with medium or low security settings.
