Band D rooms

Ensuite rooms in modern buildings at Manor Park and on campus

Our newest residences are at Manor Park and nearby Bellerby Court. On Campus Courts include University, Twyford, Millennium House and International House.

All band D rooms have an ensuite shower room with toilet and basin. Most band D rooms are located in flats of 5 to 8 students sharing a kitchen. We regret it is not possible to select to be allocated in a specific Court. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University.

Manor Park
Manor Park offers well equipped ensuite rooms in shared flats of six, seven or eight students. Every flat has a kitchen/ dining room. Manor Park is 25 minutes walk (1 mile /1.6km) from Stag Hill Campus and there is a subsidised bus service (cost 120 per year, which also allows travel to and from the town) and ample storage facilities for bicycles. Manor Park is handy for the Tesco superstore and there is a laundrette, reception and several common rooms equipped with TVs for residents. Manor Park does not have parking for residents. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University. Please note, building work will be carried out at Manor Park during 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 as the new reception block is constructed.

Bellerby Court
This Court is approximately mile (1.5km) from Campus on a quiet location on the edge of the new Manor Park Campus and handy for the Tesco superstore. Three three-storey buildings each have six flats of six rooms with a shared kitchen. There are a limited number of parking spaces available for residents. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University. The rooms are serviced and managed for the University by A2 Housing Solutions. There are a few parking spaces for residents, administered by and payable via the Hospital Parking Office.

Twyford Court
This Court occupies a quieter location on the western side of campus but within easy reach of all University facilities. There are seven modern three storey houses mostly arranged in floors of twelve en-suite rooms sharing a large kitchen dining room. Twyford Court shares a television room and reception building with Cathedral Court. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University.

University Court
A popular modern residence with over 300 en-suite study bedrooms close to Campus facilities but also handy for Guildford town centre and railway station. There are 17 houses with two or three floors of ten students sharing a kitchen/dining room. University Court shares a television room and reception with nearby Stag Hill Court. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University.

University Court, Millennium House
Nicknamed 'the train' this landmark building, located at the eastern end of Campus, handy for the town centre, has 34 flats each with six rooms. The flats are serviced and managed for the University by Thames Valley Housing Association. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University.

International House
International House has 43 flats of six rooms sharing a large kitchen dining room. International House shares a television room and reception building with Cathedral Court. The building is managed by Thames Valley Housing Association. From September 2010 bedding is no longer supplied by the University.
